Unification Ministry holds the kick-off event for the 1st 2030 Advisory Group (November 17)

On November 17, the Ministry of Unification held the kick-off event for the 1st Advisory Group at the Conference Hall of the Inter-Korean Relations Management Bureau.

The 2030 Advisory Group is composed of young individuals active in various fields such as university students, music directors, lawyers, data scientists, and teachers, who will look at unification policies through the eyes of young people and propose a picture of unification as envisioned by the future generation.

Unification Ministry Kim Yung Ho, in his welcoming address, highlighted, “The true foundation for unification will be laid when the aspirations of young people for the future of the Korean Peninsula are concretized and reflected in unification policies.” Minister Kim urged “the 2030 Advisory Group to convey the sparkling ideas and vivid voices of young people without reserve.”

Meanwhile, in addition to the appointment of the youth advisors and the commissioning of the advisory group, the kick-off event featured a variety of youth-oriented events, including congratulatory performances by the Unification Ministry’s children correspondents and the 2030 Advisory Group, a standing tea party with the minister, and a self-meeting of the advisory group.
