On September 26, ahead of the Chuseok holiday, Unification Minister Kim Yung Ho visited Im Bo Bae, 92, from Hwanghae-do, who became separated from her family after arriving in the South during the Third Battle of Seoul in the Korean War.

Minister Kim sympathized with Im Bo Bae’s anguish of displacement and her longing for her family and promised to do his utmost to address the issue of separated families, wishing her to stay in good health until the day that the promise is fulfilled.
