On January 15, Unification Minister Kwon Youngse held talks with Tolerance and Coexistence Minister Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan over the Yoon administration’s unification and North Korean policies and proposed continued cooperation regarding the matter.

Sheikh Nahyan voiced his support for the policies, introduced the UAE’s tolerance and coexistence policies, and agreed on the need for continued cooperation between the two nations.

The Ministry of Unification said that it reached a consensus on the Yoon administration’s unification and North Korean policies during the talks with the UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence. The ministry added that it plans to expand the unification-friendly foundation among the international community by pushing ahead with progressive international dialogues, including high-level strategy talks.
