On Dece.ber13, Unification Minister Kwon Youngse mentioned the direction of business implementation of the Ministry of Unification in a meeting with the press corps.

Unification Minister Kwon Youngse pointed out that the Ministry of Unification would ceaselessly induce North Korea to stop provocations and resume communication between competent authorities. He also added that the Ministry of Unification would intensify the cooperation and efforts with relevant government authorities, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to continue strengthening the driving force of the Audacious Initiative and advance to the implementation phase, and would earnestly promote the resettlement system for the North Korean refugees, which could be titled as ‘Yoon Seok-yeol’s North Korean Refugee Policy’.

Unification Minister Kwon Youngse said that the Ministry of Unification would endeavor to reestablish the strategies for future unification vision for 10 years in the short term and 30 years in the long term. He also emphasized that the Ministry of Unification would propose a new future blueprint based on principles and values, including liberty and human rights, in accordance with the changing political situations.
