On August 18, Vice Minister of Unification Kim Ki Woong read the keynote address on behalf of Minister Kwon Youngse at an event celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Institute for Far Eastern Studies at Kyungnam University and the 33rd Anniversary of the University of North Korean Studies.

In the keynote speech, Minister Kwon addressed inter-Korean relations, the situation on the Korean Peninsula, and the framework of the “audacious plan.”
