On July 5, Minister Kwon Youngse paid a courtesy visit to Na Sang-ho, President of the Won-Buddhism, and shared views on the direction of the new administration’s North Korea policy.
Minister Kwon noted the importance of social exchanges at the private sector level, especially in religious groups, and asked that Won-Buddhism play an active role in improving inter-Korean relations.
President Na Sang-ho said that he would work together with other sects to open a channel for inter-Korean exchanges.
