At 2 P.M. today, Unification Minister Kim Yung Ho will meet with the Ambassador of Canada to the Republic of Korea Tamara Mawhinney.

On November 11, at 10 A.M., Minister Kim will attend the cabinet meeting, and make a courtesy visit to Ven. Park, Deok-su, the President of the Chontae Order of Korean Buddhism at 2 P.M.

On November 15, at 10 A.M., Minister Kim will attend the plenary session of the National Assembly’s Foreign Affairs & Unification Committee.

On November 16, at 7:30 P.M., Minister Kim and Vice Minister Moon Seoung-hyun will attend a concert hosted by the Far East Broadcasting Company at Lotte Concert Hall.

On November 17, at 2 P.M., Minister Kim will attend the kick-off event of the 1st 2030 Advisory Group at the Conference Hall of the Inter-Korean Relations Management Bureau in Samcheongdong. The Minister will deliver congratulatory remarks and present the participants with letters of appointment.

2. Vice Minister’s Schedule

On November 14, Vice Minister Moon Seoung-hyun will chair the 2023 Abductees Response Committee at the Seoul Government Complex.

On November 18, at 11 A.M., Vice Minister Moon will attend the a homecoming event held by the Settlement Support Center for North Korean Refugees (Hanawon) in Anseong to encourage staff members and have discussions with North Korean defectors.

A) North Korea’s call for the dissolution of the UN Command merely echoes its previous assertions. For over 70 years, the UN Command has stood as a symbol of international solidarity, playing a pivotal role in preserving the freedom and peace of the Republic of Korea.

Moreover, North Korea’s assertion in the press release that the Korean War was a US invasion of North Korea is unfounded and serves as evidence that North Korea itself is advancing baseless and false claims.
