On October 15, the Ministry of Unification and the Busan Metropolitan City jointly held a cultural event themed on unification.
This event was designed to spread a culture of unification in the local community and raise the public consensus on unification.
Unification Minister Kwon Youngse attended the event and emphasized that the first step toward unification begins with a grassroots unification culture, and having this event for the first time in the southern region of Korea is a very meaningful way to develop the culture of unification unique to the region.

Minister Kwon also mentioned, “If these efforts to talk about and continue unification in various places spread beyond the Korean Peninsula to the international community, international support and solidarity for unification will also be solidified.”
