Minister Kim Yung Ho will deliver a special lecture at a banquet hosted by the Korea Institute for National Security Affairs today at 6:30 P.M.

On September 24, at 10 A.M., Minister Kim will attend the cabinet meeting.

On September 25, at 2 P.M., Minister Kim will attend a workshop for Ministry employees and deliver donations for Unitiative.

 

2. Vice Minister’s Schedule

Vice Minister Kim Soo Kyung will deliver welcoming remarks at a policy briefing for international organizations and Ambassadors to the ROK today at 3 P.M.

On September 25, at 10:40 A.M., Vice Minister Kim will make an appearance at a live interview hosted by KTV.

On September 26, at 9 A.M., Vice Minister Kim will attend the vice ministers’ conference.

At 1:30 P.M., Vice Minister Kim will deliver congratulatory remarks at a special academic seminar hosted by the Korean Political Science Association.

On September 27, at 7 P.M., Vice Minister Kim will deliver congratulatory remarks at a ceremony celebrating the 20th anniversary of Yeomyung School.

Q. North Korea has launched its 22nd trash balloon last night. I am aware the Ministry of Defense has released a response, but I would like to ask if the Unification Ministry has a position regarding this issue.

A. In line with the defense authority’s statement, the Unification Ministry reiterates that there is nothing the North can gain from launching trash balloons, regardless of its intentions.
